Welcome to the International Teach-in for Climate Justice

Climate change is a problem that crosses all boundaries; gender, race, culture and socio-economic status.

Climate Justice is the way we speak about the impacts of climate change by recognizing the social inequities that define it.

"The issues of climate change is one that we ignore at our own peril..."- Barack Obama

What is a teach in?

A teach-in communicates complicated issues through educational forum. It is a collaborative effort between professors and campus members to educate tens of thousands of students at once during a 2 week campaign happening simultaneously across the globe!

This year, for the first time ever Ontario and BC will be joining forces with schools from India and Kenya! All we ask professors to do is to dedicate a minimum of 20 minutes of their class time to a discussion on climate justice. Sound like a great way to make a difference? Read on for details on how you can participate...
